Bass Fishing Report – Table Rock Lake
& Bull Shoals Lake
Bass patterns are beginning to change as lake levels continue to fall. Many fish are moving out of the shallow water on points and transitioning to deeper structure.
If you're targeting bass in the cooler water, don't overlook the early morning topwater bite. Evergreen Clap Tail and Spook-style topwater baits are producing explosive strikes around rocky points and bluff ends.
As the day warms or the fish move deeper, your best pattern is fishing a 10–12 inch worm, especially the Berkley Power Worm in Plum Apple or Plum colors.
Focus your efforts around 24–30 feet of water, where the thermocline is currently setting up. Bass are relating to deeper points, ledges, and structure as oxygen levels and baitfish concentrate at that depth. Slowly working a large worm through these areas has been producing some of the better quality fish on both Bull Shoals Lake and Table Rock Lake.
